Why Muskoka

Muskoka, often referred to as “Gods Country” is a short 90-minute drive north of Toronto and less than a 2-hour drive from Pearson International Airport.

The District of Muskoka

The District Municipality of Muskoka, more generally referred to as the District of Muskoka or Muskoka, is a regional municipality in Central Ontario, Canada. Muskoka extends from Georgian Bay in the west, to the northern tip of Lake Couchiching in the south, to the western border of Algonquin Provincial Park in the east. Muskoka, often referred to as “Gods Country” is a short 90-minute drive north of Toronto and less than a 2-hour drive from Pearson International Airport.

Living in Muskoka

People who have grown up in Muskoka or have re-located to Muskoka pursue a lifestyle that is simple and more enjoyable. The region offers space, breath taking landscapes and opportunity for everyone to enjoy. Living in Muskoka allows you to meet the most amazing people who take care of each other and make the most amazing memories that are Instagram worthy. Locals and tourists enjoy all four seasons in Muskoka equally. A rainy day in Muskoka is better than a sunny day in the city. When deciding where to operate a new baseball academy Muskoka (and specifically Bracebridge) quickly worked its way to the forefront.

State of the art sport and recreational facilities

Approximately 16000 people call Bracebridge home. The town offers its residents state of the art sport and recreational facilities (with further plans to add a new community centre). High school students attend the beautiful Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School, built in 2007. As a bonus there is a sports centre connected to the high school!

The perfect location

Bracebridge is the perfect location for a High School Baseball Academy – a small town feel yet a 2-hour drive away from Rogers Centre and the Scotiabank Centre!

Bracebridge is also conveniently located only 3 hours from Buffalo, New York. The proximity to the border allows for tremendous opportunity for the team to participate in showcase tournaments all throughout the northern USA.

This will be something special for all involved

We are thrilled to bring a high school baseball academy to the community of Bracebridge and the region of Muskoka. This will be something special for all involved, and we needed to find a special area to be our home.
We sure found it.
